Are you looking for some of the most healthy, natural, and resilient animals to add to your farm?

With our Regenerative Ranching practices we raise animals that are super healthy and resilient! They don’t live in confined spaces on dirt, fed corn, grain, and other supplements because they don’t have access to forage. They are raised in the pasture, managed with rotational grazing practices, moved daily to fresh ground, fed high quality hay in the winter, and are given access to individual minerals based on their needs. We also limit medications and vaccines to a “as needed” basis. Most of our animals are vaccine free! We believe in strict management practices and if we stick to those, we’ll have healthy animals. A lot of animal health issues stem from being kept on the same ground all year long, no access to fresh grass, given too many medications and vaccines, and being fed too much grain or corn. Since we’re a Regenerative Ranch, we don’t believe in chemicals being used on our pastures. None of our pastures are sprayed with chemicals, fertilizer, weed killer, etc. We are trying to heal land, create healthy soils, raise healthy animals, and in turn provide healthy food for people!

We currently raise cattle, sheep, and goats. Our cattle consist of Longhorn cows, South Poll cows, South Poll steers, and South Poll bulls.

Our South Poll cattle were bred through our Longhorn cows using a South Poll bull. With the Longhorn breed being one of the most resilient, hearty, and healthy breeds in the cattle species, this will make some great cross breeds! We are continuing to build our South Poll herd so our 50/50 heifers are getting bred to new South Poll bulls so each generation will become more and more pure to the South Poll breed. We’re super excited about building our herd and believe they will be top performers in a grass fed Regenerative Ranching operation!

Our sheep are also incredible!

They are Dorper and Katahdin  crosses. The Dorper and Katahdin breeds are hair sheep and do very well on a grass fed Regenerative Ranch. They also aren’t “wool” sheep that have to be sheered. These sheep are very low maintenance compared to wool sheep breeds. Our sheep are also raised with Regenerative Ranching practices such as rotational grazing, fresh pasture daily, worming on a case by case basis only and striving to eventually eliminate worming, and lambing in the pasture. Our sheep are protected by several livestock guardian dogs that live out on the pasture with them. Having the dogs is a must have in our opinion and makes the loss of animals to predators much lower if not, non-existent. When you visit our ranch, we can show you our practice and how we incorporate  the livestock guardian dogs with the sheep herd. We actually have our sheep and goats together and sometimes they’re together with the cattle as well! It works great to have them all together as one big herd! There’s a lot of benefits when it comes to parasite control as well.

The goats we have are Spanish goats.

They are great meat goats that eat a ton of brush! If you have brush on your ranch and want it managed or removed, they are a great solution! The same Regenerative Ranch management practices are used with the goats as well. They are rotational grazed, always getting moved to fresh pasture, and are only given medications on an as needed basis. Goats are a great addition to a ranch! They really help in cleaning up pastures or clearing out areas to create silvopasture. We enjoy having them and have tons of laughs watching the goat kids jump around. One of our nanny goats had 4 kids this year! \

The Regenerative Ranch that our livestock is raised on consists of 570 acres located in Chandler, Oklahoma.

At this point, all of our animals are born and raised on our ranch besides a new bull, ram, or billy goat every couple years or so. We believe this is an important factor in considering where to purchase your livestock. Some people will purchase animals at the sale barn which is an option but most of the time you don’t know exactly what you’re getting. It’s tough to know how that animal was raised, what vaccines it’s had or not had, was it grain fed to hide bad genetics, etc. These are all legitimate concerns that should be taken seriously. When you buy an animal from us, you know where it came from and how it was raised. You can also come to the ranch and see the animals in their element. Our animals are some of the most domicile, content, not scared animals you’ll ever see. Since we’re always moving them to fresh grass using hot wire fencing, we’re always walking amongst them. They get used to humans and are scared of people. This makes the herd management so much easier! When we need to catch an animal, we can do it with ease compared to most ranches that have animals that take off running when a person gets near. This also plays into safety a lot. No one likes a crazy tempered animal that is a potential danger to them or another person. We’ve seen several herds that are full of animals that you wouldn’t want to go close to for fear of getting injured. This is not the case with ours! You can casually walk amongst them and even pet some! Now, with any animal, you always have to have your guard up just in case but as a rule, our animals are very easy to manage!

Hopefully this gives you all the information you need to feel confident in purchasing livestock from our ranch.

I’d also encourage you to read the “about us” section and look at our photo gallery of some of our animals. Please fill out our “contact us” form or give us a call! We’d love to visit with you further, answer any questions you have, and schedule a ranch tour!
