[00:00:22.200]
to the Y ‘all Are Crazy Ranch podcast. Today we’re going to do something a little different and just answer some rapid fire questions.
[00:00:31.300]
Thing is, is I have no idea what these questions are.
[00:00:35.700]
That’s what’s gonna make it extra fun because I have looked up some rapid fire questions and I think these are gonna be fun. So these are meant to be pretty quick because we just need to get through them.
[00:00:48.000]
When she says fun, that usually means I’m in for something interesting.
[00:00:53.300]
maybe so.
[00:00:55.000]
So we’ll see.
[00:00:56.800]
Well these are broken into categories so we’ve got Oklahoma Grassfed Beef business slash work life, we’ve got family, and we’ve got just like fun life questions. So are you ready?
[00:01:07.200]
Sure.
[00:01:07.800]
We’re gonna start with the Oklahoma Grassfed Beef business work life because I know you like talking about this.
[00:01:12.400]
Okay.
[00:01:12.500]
So for Oklahoma Grassfed Beef business work life and this will be I’ll ask it, you can answer and I’ll answer.
[00:01:17.800]
Okay. Okay.
[00:01:18.800]
This is a little bit of like get to know us a little better and so I think it will be fun and then maybe if you’re listening you can answer this for yourself. Maybe those will be fun questions that you can answer. Okay. See if you know us well and we will test that out on this episode. Okay. So business slash work life. Do you like morning meetings or afternoon meetings?
[00:01:41.700]
Morning, 100 % but we do.
[00:01:46.500]
Hey, listen, you asked me the question.
[00:01:50.000]
Okay, go ahead.
[00:01:51.300]
I said rapid fire Well, we’ll have to make the podcast last longer than five minutes Sorry, you guys So morning meetings, they’re been the best but afternoon quick check -ins We do them at about three o ‘clock every day and it’s a five -minute huddle Just see where we’re at for the day That way there’s two hours left if we get off at five and we could make any last needed adjustments Big meeting in the morning kick the day off little huddle three o ‘clock check -in Let’s see if we learn anything new about each other on this podcast or if we already know everything. Okay, okay
[00:02:28.300]
Morning, meetings, or afternoon. This is gonna surprise you about me, but I actually would prefer a morning meeting.
[00:02:34.400]
Get outta here.
[00:02:35.400]
I would. I think my mind is sharper in the morning for sure. However, I do not want like a 7 a .m. Or even really, I mean I guess I don’t mind an 8 a .m. But I would prefer like a 9 a .m. I feel like 9 to 12 are my most thought -provoking hours.
[00:02:53.400]
Oh, they are for sure. You know with the ranch and construction crew, our meetings are Monday morning at 7 a .m.
[00:03:00.200]
Yeah, that’s too early for me.
[00:03:01.700]
Yeah, so. But we’ll get it rockin’ rollin’.
[00:03:06.100]
That’s right. Okay, so would you prefer to work from home or go into an office?
[00:03:11.600]
Into the office, 100%.
[00:03:13.900]
I’m a short enough answer for you.
[00:03:15.800]
Yes. I am in the middle I don’t really want to go into an office every day But I don’t want to be at home because I’m away from people and I like I would prefer Working in the field if you will I want to be out and about but not confined to an office. Yeah Are you a risk -taker or play it safe?
[00:03:34.200]
It depends if I understand things calculated risk Calculated and I’ll take a lot of risk if I understand it like in real estate for example Or in Oklahoma Grassfed Beef business and my insurance business stuff like that. I’ll take lots of risk If it’s something I don’t know I’m not familiar with like I’m not a natural risk taker. So
[00:03:55.100]
Obviously Just everything you say I’m like, uh -huh I laugh about you because I was thinking Your first answer on everything is always no. Oh, yeah Yes, and I just know that about you now cuz I’ve been married so long that when I Bring up anything to you. It’s always gonna be like no But once and sometimes it stays no But a lot of times once I like actually explain things to you and like help you understand you’re like, okay Like maybe sometimes you’re like, mmm, I guess I’ll go along with this or sometimes you’re like, oh, yeah, that sounds great But your first answer is always gonna be no
[00:04:40.000]
Yeah, if it’s like if you’re like, hey, babe this weekend, would you like to I’m like no That’s what I’m saying no But then a lot of times I can get you over I just have to understand that to know gonna be a no first and then I have to get you to the other Side you guys are overcoming objections. That’s that’s why maybe else I tell you a lot of times I’m so good at my job because I have been Working on you for so long.
[00:05:06.500]
That’s true.
[00:05:07.200]
We call it mind -warping Although that doesn’t really that’s not really what it is. Yeah, but oh it is sometimes sometimes it is I am definitely a risk -taker I definitely don’t play it safe very often at all One of my first one of my favorite sayings is do it afraid and so I just I live by that. Yeah emails or phone calls
[00:05:30.500]
Uh, well, I don’t know both.
[00:05:32.800]
That’s how I feel. I feel like I like and use both. Yeah Hustle hard or work smart both That’s how I feel too.
[00:05:43.400]
Like I’m more hustle hard though Yeah, but see the problem is is if a person hustles too hard and never tries to work smart You just end up working too hard. Yeah, and then sometimes you have to do both. Yeah, we say oftentimes Work smarter not harder, but if you sit there and try to be too smart and don’t get anything done Then you ain’t gonna get anything done either. So it does take both. Yeah, you’re a good middle ground You have to be a middle ground. I see it too many business owners just let’s say they do hustle But that’s all they do is hustle, but then they’re making a whole bunch of mistakes. They’re not efficient They’re not growing or getting better.
[00:06:20.600]
Yeah to work smart, too yeah, I do think that hustle is the X factor that is missing and a lot of
[00:06:28.000]
businesses and people’s lives like if you don’t have the hustle factor you have to have that yeah favorite part of your job favorite part of my job I don’t even know that well I don’t really have a job I guess you would say I run all of our stuff that we got going on it’s weird when you’re an entrepreneur especially in many Oklahoma Grassfed Beef businesses because it’s like well what is my job because you have so many I tell Danielle all the time it’s you know keeping the plate spinning right and we’re trying to balance them all and spin in the plates and you know for me I love I guess every day there’s a challenge of some kind you know today I had to reset up and organize our podcast equipment and I got this giant mixer thing over there with about a hundred different knobs on it I have no idea what any of it does I had to go to Walmart to get an extra adapter thing and they’re like well what is it does it have this does it have that and I’m like
[00:07:23.400]
I don’t, I don’t have a clue.
[00:07:25.300]
Listen here, Gen Z. I don’t know what this is. I’m a geriatric millennial.
[00:07:31.100]
But I would say just, you know, uh, constantly problem solving and building and then, um, winning. I like to win.
[00:07:40.800]
Yeah. I think my favorite part of my job is helping other people celebrate. I like to say celebrate life’s biggest moments. So it’s whether it is helping them buy or sell a home, um, host an event. Uh, anything that I feel like it’s something people it’s like, it’s a pivotal moments for people. I like being a part of that.
[00:08:05.500]
Well, we just didn’t set up your venue just a minute ago for an 80th birthday party.
[00:08:10.000]
Yeah. And that stuff makes me so happy. I love getting to be a part of people’s biggest moments.
[00:08:15.600]
And you had a 90 year old birthday party a couple of weeks back.
[00:08:18.600]
Yes. And I just bought a new really cute, big pink chair and I.
[00:08:22.600]
Texted the the lady who’s hosting it for her mom and I said these your mom Can we set this cute pink cheer up for your mom so she can feel like a princess for her 80th birthday tomorrow? And she’s like absolutely So like that’s what makes me happy is just feeling like I get to help people in their biggest moments And if that’s selling a home that is such a huge milestone for someone and I like being the person that they can count On yeah, that’s good These are family topics now What’s your favorite family tradition of ours Right now what came to mind is the summertime of going to k kawaii this will be fourth year I think it’s a family camp, but basically we get to go as a family to this
[00:09:05.300]
What would you call it outdoor Christian camp kind of thing? Yeah, exactly We all get to stay together for a week. You don’t leave the campground You’re kind of in a bubble you get to just be with your family They cook for you clean all that kind of stuff. We have to do activities hike and swimming rope course Stuff like that.
[00:09:24.300]
I don’t know that’s become a tradition because this will be the fourth year sure with me and the kids We’re just chanting and singing all the chants the other day because we’re all getting so excited Because it’s within like three months three months now four months now. We go the end of July Yeah, April May June July four months now. So we are getting already really excited for that We’re usually the biggest family there.
[00:09:45.900]
They give us, you know, we pay for two bed two rooms that join each other and
[00:09:50.500]
Fill up all the bunk beds and it’s our kids favorite tradition 100 % yeah favorite vacation. I asked them the other day if we didn’t go to K Kauai Would you guys be sad and they’re like, oh we would be like devastated like they can’t even fathom not going It’s the best that’s good. My my the first one that popped in my head. We have a lot of traditions I’ll just say that it’s hard to pick one But the first one that popped in my head was going to cut down our own Christmas tree every year. Yeah We do that every December. We go to a Christmas tree farm. We pick out our tree. We cut it down We drink hot chocolate. We listen to Christmas music and it’s just one of my favorite things. Yeah, that’s a good tradition What is the most chaotic time of the day for us?
[00:10:37.500]
for us
[00:10:39.200]
Supper time. Oh. You know?
[00:10:42.600]
I was gonna say bedtime, but yeah, supper time is probably the most chaotic.
[00:10:46.600]
Oh my gosh. If y ‘all came to our house at supper time, you’d be like, holy moly.
[00:10:51.300]
That is true. Because we’re like, okay, get your little brothers in their high chairs. Everybody, you know, sit down at the table.
[00:10:58.400]
Yeah, and little boys are about to kill themselves because their tray is into the high chair. And so they tries to climb up on it, which makes it pull and fall backwards. And you’re like, then they want to climb up on it and over. And you’re like, that way you would die.
[00:11:13.000]
And then it’s like, everybody get a drink, get a fork, get everything we need for the table.
[00:11:17.000]
And they’re all yelling, or you got two over here having a conversation.
[00:11:19.300]
Everybody’s hungry.
[00:11:20.200]
These two are having a conversation and they can’t hear so that each one gets louder. And then the walls are vibrating.
[00:11:27.100]
You know and then Baxter the little baby’s yelling cuz nobody’s paying wants to be heard Supper time does win.
[00:11:35.500]
I will agree with that.
[00:11:36.500]
Yeah, who is the strictest parent me Yes, for sure hundred percent. Who is the funniest you for sure you got those porch goose and What else we got in the porch a turtle and a frog and a peacock Right now because it’s almost Easter.
[00:11:59.800]
Yeah, it’s the bunny.
[00:12:01.900]
It’s been there like I can’t even keep up with none of that stuff No, I don’t notice it.
[00:12:05.900]
I get out of look when you get home There’s a rabbit
[00:12:10.200]
Of course, so you think I wouldn’t put it past you think my porch animals are what make me funny Well, I mean, it’s just part of it.
[00:12:18.400]
I Like I make life fun I make life fun. You sure do and you keep things strictly in line. That’s true Who is the most sensitive? most sensitive you Cactus is more sensitive than you though Hey listen, I am not sensitive though wait, we know this who’s more sense. I know but Like neither one of us really.
[00:12:46.900]
Oh, no. Well, that’s who’s Say are you sensitive?
[00:12:52.700]
I have told friends before I maybe cry once a year. Is that accurate?
[00:12:59.100]
Yeah
[00:12:59.800]
That’s not very much So I like cry when you make me watch those dumb movies you do cry You You never cry tragic story of some kind or whatever We went to the movie theater the other day and watched I can only imagine to which was a great movie It was so good, but I looked at you afterward. I said, did you cry? Like yeah Well, especially when it’s about like a father or a parent and their child or a married couple and this incorporated both of those things And your faith Overcoming like it was all that.
[00:13:38.400]
Oh, yeah, those movies are great. But man like for me, that’s about the only time I’m ever sensitive. Yes, you know, yeah or when our kids do something or say something, you know Special or something like that. It’s like that stuff gets me It definitely does and a lot of people wouldn’t even it wouldn’t even like
[00:13:57.300]
They wouldn’t be emotional about it and like it’ll make me choke up and cry But but you always say I don’t like to feel emotion. I don’t like that kind of stuff, but 99 % of the time I’m not sensitive at all.
[00:14:11.400]
Yeah Yeah, so we don’t have a lot of sensitivity in our household. Yeah, and our daughter’s not sensitive You know our boys are tough boys. So we just don’t have a lot of sensitivity in our house Yep, it’s true. It’s a pretty tough household around the Schubert estate Who okay, what is there your biggest parenting win?
[00:14:33.500]
Recently it says a biggest parenting win
[00:14:38.900]
I guess I would just share about Baker, I guess.
[00:14:43.100]
Which one, last night?
[00:14:44.800]
No, not that part. It was like…
[00:14:47.000]
Oh, I know what you’re gonna say.
[00:14:48.300]
Baker’s been kind of going through a phase of life that’s been very challenging, let’s say that. Not probably being a middle child, which we have a lot of them, but…
[00:14:57.000]
He still has more of the middle child personality and tendencies.
[00:15:01.400]
It’s been, you know, I don’t know what he’s been really going through, but he’s been a challenge, you know, discipline -wise and having to discipline him and then he’d just go in the opposite direction every time. You know, you’re trying to get him to go this way and he’s going that way. And the other kids are going where they should and he’s purposely going where he’s not, you know? And we’ve been battling that for a while and having to correct him and then just kind of feeling like, man, are we ever gonna, like, are we ever, is he ever gonna turn around, you know? And finally, like for me, I try to just take everything on myself.
[00:15:35.800]
And finally, I just prayed and I was like, God, you got to help me, like, I got to give this to you because I’m trying to control it because that’s what I do. And I’m bad at asking you for help on stuff like this, but I don’t know what else to do. And so I just prayed for Baker multiple times. And it’s like the past month, we’ve literally seen a 180 in him.
[00:15:57.100]
Yes. So yeah, I agree. He has really turned a corner. He’s being more, just wanting to be more obedient, do the right thing, follow in his older brother’s footsteps and it’s been good. I’ve seen a great difference in him. I wanted to share when Benaiah was about three, probably, he went through a terrible stage and I’m sure a lot of you who’ve had three -year -olds, you know, that’s, I think a three -year -old is tougher than a two -year -old because they’re very strong -willed.
[00:16:29.900]
and want what they want, you know, emotional at that age, you’re trying to potty train, he was going through a lot. He was three, about three to four, and he was just going through a hard time where I was just like, what do I do with him? And then it came to a point where I was like, he was throwing a fit or something, and I was like, I’m just gonna pull my Bible out and just start reading the scripture over him. I didn’t even know what I was gonna read. I literally was sitting in the chair, he was like screaming beside me, I opened my Bible and just started reading. I think it was in the Psalms, just read like a whole chapter and he was just staring at me like, what is she doing? But it calmed him down, and I remember praying, Lord, take this.
[00:17:13.400]
spirit out of him and replace it with your spirit and let everything that’s bad going on in here like turn it around and put good in here. And it was like, I don’t know, I just felt like God changed him from that point. And now he is incredibly kind, obedient, sweet, thoughtful, and I’m not saying that moment changed everything, but I am saying when you give it over to God and just kind of release your hold on situations, it can just change everything.
[00:17:48.200]
Yeah, it can. And that’s one of my weaknesses, I guess, in parenting sometimes is I forget to do that, you know? But that was a good reminder with Baker, I was kind of at a…
[00:17:58.600]
wits end, if you will, didn’t know what else I could do. And then I think God softened his heart and turned him around and man, he’s been great.
[00:18:06.800]
That’s what we’ve been praying, like Lord, soften his heart.
[00:18:08.800]
Yeah, so it’s good.
[00:18:11.200]
Yeah, so we have to give it up to God because we can hold things so tightly and oftentimes God just wants us to release our control and give it to him. Okay, that was the end of the family section. The last one is the life section. So are you, this is like the easiest question ever for you and me. Are you an early bird or a night owl?
[00:18:33.500]
Early.
[00:18:34.700]
And I’m a night owl and we married each other. I’m not a night owl. What’s funny about this section is we are pretty much opposites in every one of these questions. And once again, we married each other. So opposites attract. So you are definitely an early bird. You get up at like 5 a .m. every day.
[00:18:55.700]
I am a night owl. I like to stay up till like 11. And that’s what I prefer. I come most alive at night. You come alive in the morning.
[00:19:06.800]
Yeah. I’m dead after about 8 .30.
[00:19:10.500]
After 8 .30 you’re like, don’t ask me any questions. I don’t wanna have deep conversations.
[00:19:16.500]
Yeah, I’m ready for bed at 8 .30. But I don’t get in bed till about 9 .30.
[00:19:21.100]
But I think we’ve also learned about each other, hopefully, is that in the morning, you know I do not wanna just have deep conversations in the morning.
[00:19:31.700]
Yep.
[00:19:32.600]
And I know at night there’s no need to do that with you. So you’ve gotta respect each other’s boundaries. Do you like to text or call?
[00:19:43.200]
Um, depends, but both too many people nowadays won’t call, they have call reluctancy and so they want to just shoot a text because it’s easy and they can move on and kind of check a box. And there’s times when you just need to text. But what I’m saying is if there’s a problem, if there’s something broke or something not working, somebody that we have call reluctancy today, we won’t just pay the phone and call and talk to them and get it handled in no time flat. Well, we’ll try to send a text and then it extends getting the job done. Um, I’ve seen that to be a big problem, but, uh, so I do both. I probably call more than most people nowadays, but I get things done quicker when there’s actual problems that need to be handled, that’s just a little tip of advice there too. Cause it’s been on my heart lately. She’s picked the phone and call somebody and get it done.
[00:20:30.000]
Yeah, I like to talk, so I don’t mind calling for sure, but I think my preferred method of communication is texting. For me, a lot of times I’m with the kids, and so I can text anytime for calls, unless you’re my family or close friend. I don’t really like my kids being loud in the background when I’m talking.
[00:20:52.000]
Me neither.
[00:20:52.900]
So even when you call, a lot of times it’s like, ah, and I’m like, it’s fine, it’s dad. I don’t care. But I’m not going to talk to a client with my kids screaming in the background, you know, or someone that I don’t know very well. So I tell my clients, you can text me anytime and I’ll get back to you quickly. But if you want to talk to me on the phone, just tell me that and we’ll set up a time to talk. It could be, hey, can we talk in the next hour? And that’s fine. As long as I know and I can kind of go to a quiet spot, I’m good to talk.
[00:21:23.300]
I agree.
[00:21:23.700]
Do you like sweet, salty, or spicy?
[00:21:30.400]
sweet or salty, but not very spicy. So I’m not a big spice person. You know that.
[00:21:38.400]
And it’s the opposite, cause I love spicy. And I always say I’m a really bad spicy judge cause people are like, is that a salsa hot? I’m like, no, it’s great. That’s not bad at all. And they take a bite, you included. And you’re like, this like burned my tongue off.
[00:21:54.600]
I’m a kind of guy that like, I like pace.
[00:21:57.000]
Mild. Pace, mild. And if I ever do get – If I ever get medium.
[00:22:01.700]
I’m like, listen, it’s burning my face off.
[00:22:04.500]
I’m like, it’s medium, what in the world?
[00:22:06.900]
It’s not that bad, but it is hot. I prefer the mild.
[00:22:10.200]
What’s funny is Brian Bradley’s like you. And if I ever get something that has a, I mean, a little bit of spice. She’s like, why did you buy this? And I’m like.
[00:22:20.300]
What? How can you guys not eat this? Cause I love, and Baker’s like me. So he loves spicy salsa. And so me and him, we love some spice. I love sweets too. I have a big sweet tooth. So I like salty too though, but I like to eat basically. I like everything. I can’t think of anything I don’t like. I don’t like raw onions.
[00:22:47.500]
Yeah.
[00:22:48.600]
Okay. That’s all I can think of right now though. I like everything. Do you like the beach or the mountains?
[00:22:57.200]
Well, that’s another both question or answer I should say, but.
[00:23:02.000]
There’s times where I like the beach, but I don’t like to be like too hot You like the beach in the shade You like an umbrella, you know or when we’ve stopped at like Destin a couple times or whatever that Destin and you know, it wasn’t like a hundred degrees, you know Conditions you like the beach But if I’m out there just baking like a toasted cheese or I’m out, you know, I’m like no can’t handle it for a long Once again, this is where we’re opposites because I love to like lay and and soak the Sun up like a lizard on a rock Not me it burns like fire I like to for a little while then I got to get out, you know I hate being in the Sun and baking. Yeah, and then I have some of our boys are like me like little Barlow was already So tan and beautiful
[00:23:57.300]
and we soak up the sun.
[00:23:59.600]
As long as I can have some shade on the beach, I’m good. That way I can control how much sun, you know? But I really like the mountains too, because I mean, the mountains are awesome. Pretty views, we don’t have mountains in Oklahoma really, so when you get to go see a different landscape, it’s cool, so.
[00:24:17.800]
I feel the same way, I love going to the beach, I love beach trips in the summer, but I love hiking in the mountains too. Those are, I enjoy both, like let’s mix it up. Get a little bit of both. Do you like to plan or go with the flow?
[00:24:34.500]
Plan. Why you laughing?
[00:24:38.800]
Because I know that’s true.
[00:24:40.800]
Yeah, if you try to throw me a curve ball sometimes, I’m like.
[00:24:44.000]
You need a plan. I am both because I am a planner. I live by my calendar. I need a schedule. I need communication. I think that’s a firstborn tendency. But I also really go with the flow in the fact that I can just roll with things. Things don’t bother me. I don’t need everything in place to operate. I’m just like, we don’t have that. That’s fine. Let’s keep going. I’m definitely in the middle of that.
[00:25:14.700]
I love the flow sometimes. It depends what it is.
[00:25:17.800]
Are you an introvert or an extrovert?
[00:25:21.200]
I think I’m an extrovert.
[00:25:23.700]
Really?
[00:25:26.200]
definitely not an extrovert so I’m what’s funny about that is most people who don’t know you well don’t know that about you which is funny to me well over the years I’ve had to learn to make myself talk and make myself be at social I’m not that social but you know I get asked to speak a lot in my industry and stuff like that and in the beginning I had no desire to do that you know but I had to learn how to even do that and be comfortable with it and you know I’ve gotten to where now if I got to go speak in front of like several hundred people or whatever I can go do it I’m not gonna just seek that out but if I get asked I can do it no problem
[00:26:10.000]
but I’m an introvert at heart.
[00:26:13.200]
Yeah, I think it’s funny, because when people don’t know you well, and I’m like, oh, my husband, he’s an introvert, and they’re like, really? I wouldn’t have thought that about him. I’m like, well, you don’t know him very well, because he definitely, naturally, introverted person, but you can come out of your shell, and I like to tell people, you’re really good at one -on -one conversations, but in front of groups, you get drained.
[00:26:38.000]
Yeah, it drains me. If I have to go like, you know, be social for a while and stuff like that, I can do it, but then I need to go be by myself for some time and recharge.
[00:26:50.100]
Yes, and I am the complete opposite, as you can imagine. Like, I am a very extroverted person. I crave and thrive on being around people.
[00:27:05.700]
Yeah, you get energy from it.
[00:27:07.400]
Yes, and I think that’s what they say the difference is just being around people take the energy away from you or fuel you And that’s how I think you know Yeah, and for me like it gives me energy. I get a high being around people like there’s probably not much I like better than like being in a room of people and just like walking around a room and talking to people And you press your point like that’s my worst nightmare.
[00:27:33.700]
Oh, yeah, no way.
[00:27:35.600]
So I love Especially people I know or kind of know and just getting to catch up with people talk Wave at people like you know, just that’s that is my jam. So I Yeah, but once again introvert extrovert we marry each other And I think what’s funny is you have you probably were more introverted when we met you’ve gotten a lot
[00:28:00.500]
more extroverted. I was an extrovert for sure when we met, but I feel like sometimes I’ve gotten more extroverted. I don’t know. I don’t know, maybe. Yeah.
[00:28:13.200]
So you’re still not introverted.
[00:28:14.600]
I don’t think I ever will be. There are times when I do like to be by myself, have some quiet time, but not most of the time.
[00:28:26.100]
No, pretty much just the morning hour.
[00:28:28.300]
Yeah, I don’t want people talking to me before I have my coffee, read my Bible, have a little bit of time.
[00:28:35.600]
Yeah. But then after that, you like people.
[00:28:38.300]
Watch out. Watch out until I go to sleep.
[00:28:41.400]
Yeah.
[00:28:43.000]
So, okay, last question. What is the best piece of advice you have ever been given?
[00:28:49.200]
Man, why you got to ask me a question? That’s the last question of the day See and the way my brain works is like I want to give the best answer possible I know and you didn’t give me no time to think about like what would be the best answer for I know You know, I want you to pick what just comes to your mind Well, I don’t know that’s a good question I don’t know Do you want me to answer first? Yeah, you answer first and let me think a minute.
[00:29:20.500]
Oh Obviously, we’ve been given lots of great advice in our lives and I’m sure there are some that’s like, oh, yeah, that was good That was good. That was good. So I lots of good advice.
[00:29:30.700]
I got one.
[00:29:31.700]
Okay, you want to go? I knew something will pop in your head
[00:29:36.000]
Had to give me a second, but and I don’t remember where the advice came from so I can’t give credit That’s weird, but didn’t come to hear it from something So but the most important decision you’ll ever make in your life is following Christ. Yes The second most important decision you’ll make in your life is who you marry also, yes, and You better choose wisely Yes, and that that’s You’ve heard that several places let’s say it affects all areas of your life Oklahoma Grassfed Beef business family your outlook your happiness peace every everything so Christ Following him you got to choose that because you can choose not to right? So you have to put your faith in him That’s number one. And then the second most important decision is picking the right spouse
[00:30:31.900]
Very true. My best piece of advice that I can think of, my parents always taught me growing up and I really think it’s helped me in my life, like just with relationships with people, with Oklahoma Grassfed Beef business, everything, is they always told me, treat the janitor the same way you would the CEO. They like instilled that in me of like, it doesn’t matter what somebody’s job is, what their place in life is, what other people think about them. You treat everyone the same. You be kind to everyone, don’t look down on people just because of like life circumstances and I feel like that’s served me very well, is that I always try to treat people the same, treat them kindly, say hi to people, be encouraging to people and like, don’t look down on anybody because.
[00:31:23.400]
Like my parents say, it’s by the grace of God that we are where we are, we live where we live, and we have the blessings that we have. So that advice has served me well.
[00:31:34.500]
That’s good, I like it.
[00:31:36.600]
Well, that was fun.
[00:31:37.900]
Yeah, those questions weren’t too bad.
[00:31:39.200]
They weren’t too bad. We’ll do another Q &A at some point, but that was just a little get to know you. Maybe you guys could do this at home and see what answers you come up with.
[00:31:48.000]
All right, well, till next time.
[00:31:50.300]
See you next time.
