The Y’all Are Crazy Ranch was created with growth in mind – growth in family, land and animals. We saw the potential for what it could be and absolutely fell in love. Love never comes without sacrifice and we have definitely had to overcome obstacles along the way. During the podcast, we share with listeners about the ups and downs of parenthood, ranching, living in the country and business. Our hope is that all who listen will hear that God is good! God loves us, provides for us, cares for us and wants us to live lives that glorify Him.

We were married in 2009 and had no goals to move to the country, start a large family or own our own businesses. We were just two 22 year old college kids with degrees and no clue how to use them. When we were engaged, Bronson worked at a butcher shop and cut meat for a living. This skill has actually come in quite handy over the years because we can always tell me what any cut of meat is and where it comes from! I dabbled around in the corporate world, in the political world, in the news industry and finally landed on real estate as a career at the age of 25. We had our first child, our daughter, in 2012 and our lives truly took off from that point on. Bronson decided to get into the insurance industry and create his own business – which has turned out to be a huge blessing! We both now use our skill sets to serve others and live in the strengths God gave us. We added another baby just 15 months later, amidst Bronson starting his new office, me building a real estate career and remodeling our first home! Over the following years, we would move every 2-3 years, building equity as we went and moving up in house size and acreage. We lived in a beautiful ranch style home that we remodeled with a fish pond behind it and had a little goat herd – because I have always had a love for goats! We sold it very quickly when I put it up for sale unexpectedly (when you’re a Realtor, you can do these things). Pro tip: Tell your husband first. It just might sell day 1. We thought it would be a great idea to move when I was exactly 40 weeks pregnant with our 5th child (great idea, right?). I remember bringing him home to the ranch house when it was completely packed up and sleeping in a recliner with him for the first few days of his sweet life. We then moved into an Airbnb for a week while our new home was being painted! Once we moved into “the mansion” as our kids called it, a 40-acre property with gorgeous views and lovely pool and waterfall, we thought “this was it”. We lived there happily for 2 years, hosted many events, brought home another baby and built many memories!

Things really got crazy in 2022 when I told him we should look at a rental property in Chandler, OK (a town about 30 minutes east of us). Neither of us had ever been there but I had a strong conviction that God told us to look at that first house. It was old, ugly, in a small neighborhood and we knew almost no one. However, we pulled the trigger, sold our dream home and moved into this crazy little fixer upper. We had a 3 month old at the time (baby #6), slept on air mattresses, froze at night and slept with space heaters because the HVAC was not working properly, had a water pipe burst and flood the living room, and we wondered what in the world we had done! And then….the ranch we now call home came up for sale. 240 acres of glorious acreage and a perfect space for our dream home! It was only a few miles outside of town and it was perfect! Over the next year, the adjoining 160 acres, an additional 160 acres as well as a 10 acre lot with a cabin came up for sale and we were able to add those to the ranch! We welcomed baby #7, moved out to the country and lived happily ever after….

You know that’s not the end, right?

We sold our new cars, bought used ones, focused on growing the ranch, buying rentals, starting our Airbnb businesses – plus I opened two event venues! We added cows, sheep and some more goats to the ranch. We hired a Ranch Manager, JW, and he is such a blessing to our ranch! You will hear him on the podcast and see him in some videos! We joined a new church, lost friends, made new friends and grew TOGETHER. I wrote a few books (5 and counting), hosted my own podcast for 5 years – “Business & Babies” – you can still find it on Apple Podcasts! In 2022, I also started my own real estate brokerage and the two are now combined and named – “Bricks and Branches Realty and Event Venue”. I have sold over $100 Million in Oklahoma Real Estate and counting. I grew a team and now have both Agents and Staff who work under Bricks and Branches Realty. I still love being a Real Estate Agent and helping people buy and sell homes! I have also discovered new passions and enjoy hosting events, speaking at conferences, being a part of womens’ and girls’ ministries and teaching the Bible! Bronson and I speak separately and together at conferences and events now and both enjoy sharing our hearts and experiences with others! Our kids are very athletic – wrestling is a huge passion for our boys and our daughter is a cheerleader. So we spend many days on the mat and in the stands cheering them on. For us, it’s God first, family second, business third. We made the decision early in our marriage to put God first, always. He has always blessed us for that. We are now discipling our kids to be the light of the world, teaching them the value of hard work and how to be an avid learner. Bronson and I both have a love for reading and growing and at any given time, we have 2-3 books we are reading along with our daily Bible study.

Wow – time has flown, a lot has changed, we have learned a ton! One thing has never changed – God is good.

Join us as we talk about our wins, losses, life changes and lessons learned on The Y’all Are Crazy Podcast.
